Sump Pump Failure In Basement

SERVPRO of Southern Lorain County was called out to this Westlake home after a storm rolled through and these homeowner's sump pump just couldn't keep up and eventually caused the sump pump to back up and water to affect the entire basement area. In the picture to the top left, there is no noticeable wet spots on the carpet, but it was there. It's not only the water you can see but the water you can't see and that was exactly what happened in this situation.

Due to the extensive damage, the carpet had to be removed. The homeowners were very satisfied with how quickly our team got the job done.
